Eyelid valgus is an abnormal state in which the rim leaves the eyeball and flips outward. The lighter is caused by the eyeball leaving, the severer is exposed to the conjunctiva, and even the eyelids are all everted. Eyelid valgus treatment: (1) Scarring: Completely remove the scar for skin grafting. (2) paralysis: light eye ointment and eye pad bandage, severe cases should be eyelid suture to protect the cornea. (3) Senile: If it is light, it should be rubbed upwards to reduce or prevent the valgus from increasing. In the case of severe surgical correction, the simplest method is to shorten the gingival margin. The easiest way is to make a triangular resection of the conjunctival tarsal layer and the skin and muscle layers, and then suture it. Eyelid valgus symptoms: (1) tears occur due to small eversion of tears. (2) The conjunctiva of the exposed part becomes hyperemia, hypertrophy, dry, rough, and even epidermal-like changes. (3) Severe cases can lead to hernia closure and exposed keratitis.
